UPCOMING HOLIDAYS & SCHEDULES

  • Good Friday (Mar 29) - Sunday / Holiday schedule
  • Easter Monday (Apr 1) - Regular Weekday schedule
  • Victoria Day (May 20) - Sunday / Holiday schedule

SAFETY FIRST: CROSS AT CROSSWALKS
The Hamilton Street Railway would like to remind transit users that movement within and surrounding the various bus terminals should be restricted to the sidewalks and crosswalks provided.

Crossing through the centre of the terminal roadway (jaywalking) can be dangerous to not only pedestrians but transit operators as well.

For your safety please use the marked crosswalks provided at the MacNab Transit Terminal, Hamilton GO Centre, Eastgate Transit Terminal among others. Safety first.

SNOW AT BUS STOPS
If there is any excessive snow at or around HSR bus stops that has not been cleared away in a timely fashion, citizens can contact the city at 905-546-CITY and the location will be reported to the City's Road and Mintenance / Operations department for removal.

Snow removal is done by the City of Hamilton and not the Hamilton Street Railway.

POCKET DIALING the HSR
The customer service department of the HSR has been receiving a rising number of 'pocket dials' from mobile phones recently. These calls not only tie up the customer service call centre but could also be using up your airtime and costing you money. Ensuring you lock the screen or keypad on your mobile device can help you from 'pocket dialing' the HSR and others.

MOBILE SCHEDULES
Mobile formatted schedules for spring 2013 will be updated overnight on Saturday March 23rd.
