'41 Mohawk' Detoured Again This Weekend

The HSR will once again be detouring buses along '41 MOHAWK' while the city makes emergency repairs of the bridge on King Street which overpasses Kenilworth Avenue.

The roadway will be closed effective Friday August 24th from approximately 6pm until Sunday August 26th at approximately 9am.

The detour for all buses via Kenilworth will be the same as the detour in July and are listed below. Buses travelling via Ottawa are not affected.

NORTHBOUND (To Gage and Industrial via Kenilworth)
Detour after servicing the bus stop at Kenilworth Traffic Circle via:

- Continue (north) on Kenilworth Avenue
- Exit Ramp to King Street
- Right (east) on King Street
- Left (north) on Cameron Avenue
- Left (west) on Monterey Avenue
- Right (north) on Kenilworth Avenue and resume regular routing on Kenilworth north of Monterey.

SOUTHBOUND (From Gage and Industrial via Kenilworth)
From Kenilworth Avenue and Central Avenue

- Right (west) on Central Avenue
- Left (south) on Huxley Avenue
- Left (east) on King Street
- Exit Ramp to Kenilworth Avenue South and resume regular routing on Kenilworth south of the King Street ramp.

Note* The Route '41 Mohawk' buses via Ottawa Street are not affected by this closure.

The following bus stops will be temporarily out of service:

Northbound:

- Kenilworth Avenue at King Street, Farside, Northeast Corner
- Kenilworth Avenue at Monterey Avenue, Nearside, Southeast Corner

Southbound:

- Kenilworth Avenue at Monterey Avenue, Nearside, Northwest Corner
- Kenilworth Avenue at King Street, Nearside, Northwest Corner
